SilverLining Partners proudly announces 3 new executive team members to assist SLP in its RFID/UID initiative. John Cumberton, Don Lawson and Tim Kennedy will provide assistance in various capacities to ensure professional design, timely delivery and total client satisfaction.

SilverLining Partners and RFID Processes LLC have completed a joint agreement to offer a full suite of RFID and UID engineering and process services to large corporations and their small – medium manufacturing suppliers to meet compliance standards for DoD and/or the Enterprise. RFID Processes is a Veteran Owned business located in Norwalk, CT. Vermont Technology Group will also join the team to provide database and programming services .

SilverLining Partners has joined General Physics Corp as a Seaport E subcontractor effective January 2006. Silverlining will support GP in various multimedia, CBT tasks for the Navy.

Dedicated. The largest IT Service Company in Connecticut has engaged John Pugliese to provide sales channel management in 2006. This is a follow-on to an extensive sales and marketing SLP audit completed in early 2005.

SilverLining participated in two conference/exhibits in November 2005. In Tennessee, SLP participated in AFSMI World Conference. In Rhode Island, SLP participated in the Disabled Veteran Business Forum and display at the Naval Station Newport.

SilverLining Partners completed in November 2005 “sales force performance benchmarking" for a new product launch for a leading east coast pharmaceutical company. SLP was also the Project Manager to bridge the data application group and sales management.

SilverLining Partners has delivered 4 SCORM 1.2 ICW courses to EG&G, completing the total project in July 2005. The effort was for Submarine On-Board Training (SOBT) in Groton, CT.

Tom Bednarczyk was re-appointed by the Administrator of the SBA, to its Advisory Committee on Veteran Business Affairs.  He serves as the Vice Chairman. The Committee is an independent source of advice and policy recommendations on veteran’s business issues to Congress and the President.

Biographical Summary

Tom Bednarczyk is a founder and owner of SilverLining Partners, LLC. He has spent 30 years in high technology with the last 16 in the IT service sector. Prio to SilverLining’s formation in 2002, he was vice president of global service marketing and a member of the executive management team at VITAL Network Services, Inc. He was one of the founders of VITAL and was instrumental in creating the initial business and marketing plan to launch the company in 1996. As the marketing executive, VITAL revenues achieved double-digit compounded annual growth.

Taking a 2 year hiatus from marketing, Tom also managed VITAL’s North American service operations, consisting of over 200 personnel and revenues exceeding $35M. His responsibilities included call center, technical engineering, field engineering, logistics and training.

Tom's executive marketing responsibilities focused on service product development, pricing, promotion, sales development, market segmentation, public relations and worldwide strategic planning in the IT services sector. He had served in numerous sales, market management and strategic planning positions earlier in his career at SNET

Some of his more notable achievements have been the acquisition of two service operations (one in Europe and the second in the US) as well as the selling of a service company to a private investor group in 2001.

Tom has a masters degree from Fairfield University and served 7 years in the US Army, leaving with the rank of Captain. He is a Vietnam veteran, serving in-country in 1970.

Biographical Summary

John M. Pugliese is a founder of SilverLining Partners, LLC. Previously, he was managing partner for Greenwich Technology Partners and a member of its senior management team. John's day-to-day responsibilities focused on quality delivery, growing the account base and managing a regional P&L. John managed a significant resource pool and was responsible for a revenue stream exceeding $30M.

Prior to GTP, John was executive director of Sales, Marketing & Business Development at VITAL Network Services, Inc. He was on the ground floor of the creation of VITAL and was instrumental in creating the sales infrastructure and sales plans to launch the company. He also served in business development, and marketing and was a member of the senior management team. Some of his more notable achievements were the early expansion of the sales infrastructure, resulting from double-digit revenue growth achieved through his targeted sales approach. While managing the business development organization, he developed key outsourced relationships with a number of leading global OEM's.

Early in his career, he served in numerous engineering, sales, marketing management and multinational planning positions while at General DataComm and ConDiesel Mobile.

John Cumberton

Biographical Summary

John’s skills have been accumulated over a period of 30 years and apply across a broad range of disciplines within the communications arena. Early experiences were gained in the research laboratories of Plessey Telecommunications Ltd. (near London, England) doing pioneering work on adaptive processes, modulation techniques, and helping provide innovative solutions for noise and echo cancellation applications.

Later, John joined General Datacomm Ind. where he rose through the ranks to become Vice President, Engineering with far reaching responsibilities that included multi-million dollar hardware and software development projects directed at ATM switches, routers, statistical multiplexers, and highly efficient voice codecs.

Recently, at Ahead Communications and then Kenetec John applied his experiences to help evolve product architecture, evaluate competitors, and refine market positioning.

Tim Kennedy

Biographical Summary

Tim has over 25 years experience in the communications industry. Initially, based out of the UK, he managed business activities throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. More recently, based out of the USA, his activities have expanded to include North America, Asia and Central/South America. Tim has held engineering, management and executive management roles with British Telecom, Racal Milgo and General Datacomm. More recently he held executive management roles in several early stage communications equipment vendors including Ennovate Networks and Mangrove Systems. Tim’s program management and business development activities include tier one Enterprise, Network Service Provider and Equipment Vendor customers in North America and around the world.

Don Lawson

Biographical Summary

Don Lawson has spent over 25 years in progressive Program Management roles and operations with the last 20 years in the data communications and IT technology sector. Recently, he was Director of Program Management and Contracts for Ahead Communications and General DataComm and a member of the executive management team.

Some of his most notable achievements have been the involvement with the deployment of the world's largest broadband networks for some of the leading global carriers, government integrators and commercial customers. In the deployment of these networks Don Program managed over $50 million per year in product and services throughout the world. He has program managed a broad range of technical projects including the computer control system for the Chicago Deep Tunnel project, the first microprocessor project for Philips Medical Systems for an industry first application and most recently the outsourced development of an Agere network processor design.

Don has a multifaceted engineering background covering Electrical, Mechanical and Software disciplines and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Don's day to day activities focus on operations and delivering the customer's project requirements.

Tom Dupont
Biographical Summary

Tom Dupont started Dupont Learning in 1988. In 2000 Dupont Learning migrated toward web-based training services, and now most Dupont Learning time and resources are concentrated on helping other companies create their own online university systems. Products and services include learning management systems, off-the-shelf eLearning courses and custom eLearning modules. Dupont Learning also provides software and training to help companies create their own eLearning content. With 16 years experience in the training business, either creating or conducting workshops on countless topics, Dupont Learning has become proficient at course design, and now particularly eLearning instructional design.

 

Bob Scatta
Biographical Summary

Bob Scatta is a senior courseware developer of custom interactive multimedia CD based and e-learning materials with an extensive background in hardware/software and network topology. He has created and produced training using the latest technology in hardware and software to create both streaming video and interactive CD training materials for sales and e-Learning clients throughout the United States.
